KTM team members are still “wondering” if Pedro Acosta will be given a factory bike next season, in place of Jack Miller.
Moto2 champion Acosta will join the MotoGP in 2024, riding for the Tech3 GASGAS team alongside Augusto Fernandez instead of Pol Espargaro. There is a possibility that Acosta may take Jack Miller’s place in the future, as he is highly regarded by KTM and Tech3 GASGAS. Miller and Brad Binder currently have contracts to stay with their factory bikes for next year. However, KTM’s Motorsport Director, Pit Beirer, has left room for potential changes in his plan. He believes that starting Acosta’s MotoGP career with Herve Poncharal’s team will provide a less pressured environment. Beirer intends to set the course for the future early on.
